The door has been shut for a hundred years.
Coming to Ocho RiosThe Bamboo Parlour Secret: The Final Dinner
Once a hotel, a drinking house and the place a certain corner of old Jamaica went to be seen, the Bamboo Parlour went quiet about a century ago. No fire, no headline, no famous night. It simply stopped. The building faded from memory. The secret, it seems, did not.
Opening soon · forty-five minutes · private for your party of 2 – 6 · no walk-ins, ever
Exhibit 01 Notice recovered from the Parlour, as found. Nobody has been past it since.
Leave your name at the door.
The Parlour will open for a handful of names at a time, and the first sessions will go to the people in this book before anyone else hears about them.
Tell us who you are, write your name, and the right page of the book opens. Guests, travel advisors, media and creators each have a page of their own. Looking for work? The staff book is on its own page.
A place that remembers, briefly opening its door again.
The Bamboo Parlour Secret is a forty-five-minute, privately booked immersive island thriller. Part theatre, part environmental mystery, part escape-style adventure, and none of those things quite. You do not solve a room. You step into a story that was never meant to be reopened and find out, piece by piece, what happened here.
It arrives at the old Parlour façade, sitting a little too still in the dark. It carries you inside on a cramped machine from another era, where a voice with rather more personality than a building should have begins to speak to you, and seems to know why you have come before you do. And it does not get louder as it goes. It gets closer.
Somebody in the Parlour concealed something.
Somebody else may have tried to expose it.
You will be the first through the door in a hundred years.
Nothing is served. The Final Dinner is the name of the story, not a menu. Arrive with a clean palate.
Nothing jumps out of a cupboard. It is highly suspenseful, with music, sudden sounds, lights, strobes, fog and haze, and no cheap frights.
There is no countdown and no scramble for the exit. The things you find were left by people, not placed for tourists.
One party of two to six owns the whole session. Booked online only, never at the door, and phones stay in a chest until you come out.
